Durham Cathedral. Library: HMML Repository

Durham Cathedral. Library

HMML filmed 372 manuscripts at the Durham Cathedral Library, dating from the 6th to the 15th c., as well as a small number of early modern manuscripts. The bulk of this collection has been together since the Middle Ages and includes manuscripts produced in Britain and Ireland, as well as in Italy and Norman France. A project by Durham Cathedral and Durham University to digitize this collection is underway. Whenever these digital images were available, HMML has included links in our records.
